Product description

The Babyair 40 is a slimmer version of the P series, combining style with substance as it carries the same advantages we have come to expect from the Airfree products, with a 30% smaller footprint.

Key Features

  • Compact, stylish design
  • Uses patented TSS Technology to clean air
  • Low power consumption
  • 100% Silent
  • Optional night light with 3 colours
  • Destroys rather than traps microorganisms
  • 45-48m² capacity

Soothingly efficient

Airfree products are 100% silent, so they are suitable for bedroom use as they won’t disturb your sleep. There is also a night light stars projection with 10 possible colours, which can be switched off.

Patented TSS Technology

Using the patented Thermodynamic Sterilising System (TSS) technology, Airfree products use a concept similar to boiling water in order to clean the air in a room. Contaminated air is purified by heating to 200°C in the incineration chamber, before passing over the cooling plate and being released back into the environment.

Destroys Microorganisms

One of the main advantages of using Airfree over filter-based purifiers is that the microorganisms are destroyed rather than trapped, meaning that filters do not have to be regularly changed to prevent them from re-entering the environment.

Airfree can destroy up to 99.99% of microorganisms that pass through its ceramic core, including mould, dust mites, bacteria, viruses, pollens, pet dander, tobacco and other allergens.

Additionally, no ozone is emitted, and independent tests have shown that Airfree can in fact reduce ozone by up to 26%.

Cheaper to Run

Airfree products cost very little to run as there are no HEPA filters or UV bulbs to replace, and power consumption is comparatively low. For the Babyair, this is typically between 37W and 53W.

Product reviews

  • Completely silent 5

I'm really happy with our new Air Purifier. It's completely silent, I was concerned it would be noisy as it's in a bedroom but you can't hear it at all. I think there's definitely less dust in the room too.
