Air Purifier Overview

Advanced Filtration

Designed in Sweden to provide maximum performance and energy efficiency, the 7440i’s HEPASilent Ultra™ filter uses electrostatic and mechanical filtration to remove 99% of germs and remove dust, pollen, mould and other unwanted microorganisms, down to 0.1 microns in size.

The 7440i’s SmartFilter consists of a particle filter layer and an active carbon filter layer. This delivers 50% more clean air, uses 55% less energy and has 10% lower noise than other typical True HEPA filtration.

Additionally, the HEPASilent technology has been independently tested at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden) to achieve the HEPA H13 filtration grade according to standard EN-1822.

HEPASilent Performance Data

HealthProtect 7400 series shown to remove 99.99% of airborne SARS-CoV-2 in a 13 ft³ biosafety lab chamber. Not proven to kill SARS-CoV-2 or prevent transmission of COVID-19. Other Blueair air purifiers have not been tested against SARS-CoV-2.

Packed with Technology

In addition to its advanced filtration, the HealthProtect 7440i also comes with GermShield™ technology, which is able to remove viruses and bacteria, preventing germ growth even when the purifier is not in use.

SpiralAir™ outlets offer 360° airflow to push clean air into every corner of the room (up to 91m² in size), while the 5-colour indicator bar provides updates on particle and gas levels.

Ultimate Convenience

The SmartFilter is attached to the top and is easy to remove, and the Blueair app can communicate via RFID when it is time to replace this.

The hidden wheels can extend, allowing for effortless transport and the easy-clean pre-filter extends the life of the main filter by catching larger particles.
